I hope life is going a bit more smoothly for you in the month since you posted this one (sorry, I’m behind 😛). Just gave you a follow on Threads, although I haven’t been keeping up much over there. But thank you for the reminder that I am overdue for a visit to Harvard Art Museums!
Just wanted to say thanks for your recommendation of "Cooking With Fernet Branca" in a previous post. It has been on my TBR list for years but I had never read it. Absolutely hilarious and definitely shares some darkness and wit with Lanchester's "The Debt To Pleasure." I finished it and immediately ordered reading copies of "Amazing Disgrace" and "Rancid Pansies."
interestingly enough, i still can't stay away from just ranting on my instagram story. i like the act of posting a silly photo with some text, and having it impermanent.
we've only met once on a luxury ship full of very wealthy people. but I count you as a colleague, friend, who would maybe have been a neighbor if I had not moved from the Boston area to Italy back in 1965.

Life goal: to get a photo with the four of us! Also: I love this post :-)
This is brilliant! Such a lovely testament to friendship. Have you read The Life Council by Laura Tremaine? Highly recommend!
