There’s a lot going on in my book world these days, and I wanted to update you.
First, my upcoming third novel, In The Garden of Monsters (9/24), for my U.S. readers, is up for a Goodreads Giveaway right now. My publisher, MIRA Books, is giving away 10 early copies of the novel to lucky winners. It runs till May 31st, so now’s your chance to throw your hat into the ring for it. First, if you haven’t read my first novel yet, as I mentioned last week, it’s a Kindle daily deal for the month of May! Feast of Sorrow is the story of Apicius, the ancient gourmand whose name is on the oldest known cookbook. He died in the most bizarre way, and I tell the tale of how he got there.
And finally, my second novel, The Chef’s Secret, is now available on Kindle Unlimited, so if you have it, make sure you snag it as one of your reads.

I wrote about this a few weeks ago, but my writing partners, Anjali M Duva and Henriette Lazaridis are launching a new publishing company, Galiot Press. Galiot Press publishes writing that emerges from the confluence of currents and cultures. We publish books of fiction and non-fiction essential to our changing world–books that defy categories or take artistic risks. We re-envision every step in the publishing process, drawing on our core values of transparency, respect, equity, and sustainability.

They have a Kickstarter running to help them get off the ground so they can launch the first of four books in 2025.
